What Causes Severe Pelvic Pain After Using Skyla IUD?

Hi, i ve had my Skyla IUD for almost 2 years now, and every so often I have strange pelvic pain - not quite cramping, but very much like it. I have had it checked several times and the doctor always says it s ok and in place, so I haven t had it removed. I am in China now (and living here) and don t have a doctor yet or medical insurance, so am not sure if I need to have it checked again or if this is just normal?

Hi, I think it is normal to have some cramps with IUD. But if cramps are severe and associated with dirty discharge, then it can be a sign of infection and then you need to be examined by a gynecologist.
