What Causes Severe, Persistent Drainage From Left Nostril?
Hi. I m so sorry to ask tis question so late. I have severe and constant drainage from my left nostril. It shas been going on for a few months and it is interfering with my daily living. It is becoming impossible to work or carry a regular conversation without my nostril dripping. I do not suffer from allergies so what else could it possibly be?
Hello, This could be due to infection or a polyp or some other growth in the sinus on the left side causing this problem. Have you had a head trauma lately? If so this could be a spinal fluid leak with is very serious. Please see a doctor soon, especially if you have had any sort of heard trauma lately. If there has been no head trauma you may be able to get a diagnosis and treatment just with an exam, if not xrays or CT may be needed to sort out the problem. Regards
