What Causes Severe Pressure In The Thoracic Area While Having Bronchitis?

Three days ago I went to see a chiropractor. I was having thoracic back pressure since my bought with bronchitis a month ago. The chiropractor did a tens treatment for 10 minutes to my upper back. Then he did spinal manipulation with two thrusts to my thoracic back. On the second thrust I had severe sharp pain radiating from my back around the scapula to under my left breast along my rib. I have been experiencing pain since then and now some heart palpitations . Do I need to see a physician?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
A CT thorax can be considered to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
