General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. If the rash is after three days of fever then measles should be ruled out. A visual inspection by your physician will be helpful. Platelet count should be done to rule out possibility of hemorrhagic fevers like dengue. Platelet count will be decreased in such case. Get enough rest. Take warm fluids. Taking chewable vitamin C will be helpful also. Another possibility is due to allergic from any drugs you have taken. In such case anthistamines like cetirizine orally and local calamine lotion will be helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
