I am 47 yrs. old and have been diagnosed with high tone PFD and most recently IC.I have extreme rectal pain which began after back surgery for a pinched sciatic nerve. I am currently on opiods for pain, but would prefer to discontinue using them, To do so would have me in tears 24/7. I cannot sit longer than 10 minutes or stand longer than 30 minutes. I have tried trigger point injections, but they did nothing for the pain. I have been told about botox injections and a block. What should I try next? I am sincerely miserable and broke because I have not been able to work for more than a year. Help please, I just want a normal life again.
