What Causes Severe Redness And Itchiness In The Index Finger?
Sir I have take one antibiotic tablet , after that in my palms between thumb and index finger became reddish and itchy. So I went to doctor and tell him about this, the he prescribed me a tablet called gupisone prednisolone 20mg. Before taking this tablet I want have advised from you sir.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like xerotic eczema , atopic dermatitis , contact dermatitis , infection , diabetes or side effects of certain medicine . I would suggest you to take medicine prescribed by your doctor . Also keep your hand clean and dry , do no apply any cosmetic product except petroleum jelly and protect it from direct sun light . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory .
