Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has severe scaly feet to where it could almost cut you from being so rough and scaly. He works in a tire factory going into areas over 120 degrees and his feet blister up very bad as well and look raw. It hurts for him to walk but he does because he s use to it. I m worried this could cause serious health and feet issues later on. Thanks Tammy
The scaly feet and raw blisters are secondary to exposure to very high ambient temperature at work place. Though he must be taking precautions at the work place, I would recommend to check quality of his gum shoes what he is using while working. Another issue of skin sensitivity to leather must be evaluated before head to commencing further diagnostic approach.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
