Hello this is April and I am usually not hypchondriac or anything...but I m experiencing really bad shortneess of breath due to possible pneumonia. It is getting worse and my body seems to trying to get more oxygen. I usually have bronchitis every year but this is the worse one and I wonder if I need to go to the ER or not. I do not think I have a fever (but did have fever yesterday morning) and it is now 2:25 a.m. in the morning and I m very concerned.
As per your query you have shortness of breath. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query anxiety disorder , panic attack , peptic ulcer , heart rhythm disorder , drug overdose , allergic reaction or anemia .I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper diagnosis . Doctor will take history . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic drug along with antiemetic . Doctor may refer you to cardiologist in case of cardiac disorder or psychologist in case of stress and anxiety . For now take over the counter anti histamine like benadryl . Keep yourself hydrated and eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
