What Causes Severe Shoulder Pain When Diagnosed With A Tumor In The Neck?
What is a good pain medicine for severe, but hopefully temporary severe pain which has been going on since November. It started as bursitis in the shoulder area, then the addition of a boil on the shoulder which has healed, but know MRI shows growth/tumor in neck area.
As per your query you have shoulder pain when diagnosed with a tumor in the neck . Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons like bursitis, tendinitis, torn cartilage , torn rotator cuff, dislocated shoulder or it could be due to tumor of neck also .I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proer examination . Doctor may order certain test like X-ray , Ct scan or MRI . Doctor may also check the mobility by asking you to perform few movement . Doctor may prescribe muscle relxant , anti inflammatory or may consider arthroscopic surgery, which is performed through a tiny incision . For now start physical therapy of shoulder . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist for removal of tumor .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
