What Causes Severe Skin Peeling On Fingertips,heels And Feet?

Yes .. I am a gastric bypass patient , ended up wi th yrs of complications . Have a feeding tube for when I can not eat much. For last 2 mtgs I have had severe peeling of skin away at fingertips & on heels of feet. Docs put me on oral antuifungals & finally I went to foot doc who did scrapings .. Said no fungus, bacteria. Some think it some nutrient I am low in . I take liquid kcal, presc. Vit D 2 & good multivitamins any ideas? Ty

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, symptoms could be suggestive of mal absorption syndrome you will have to get done some work up for this like blood tests to see the proper levels of vitamins, till then better to have some extra supplements of vitamins along with the folic acid, if this is the infection then antibiotic is must, but underlying cause is must to know, better to have a word with doctor, hope this information helps, take care and have nice day.
