What Causes Severe Spasms In The Esophagus?
I suffer from severe esophageal spasms, and after many months of trying different treatment methods including surgery. I finally convinced my doctor to check me for food allergy test, which she hesitated. I finally had it done and it shows I m allergic to clams and shrimp which I already avoid due to they cause my throat to swell. I don t want to sound to pushy towards her but I would like for her to look into further allergy testing, what tests should I request?

The oesophagal spasm is not related to food allergy. You can consult a dermatologist and plan for a patch test to find out all possible allergens.
