What Causes Severe Spinal Stiffness Long After Having A Surgery?
Hi Sir, I am Raj and I am 34 years old. I have stiffness in the spine from L1 to L5. It is severe when I am in sleeping posture and also when I am in standing posture. After some time it is getting cured when I take seating posture. I used the medication of Up-rice D3 60k for 12 weeks, Calcium 500mg for 12 weeks, fluxura D for 1month, Gaba pin NT for 6 months, Mayuril 8 mg for month, Thremodol-P for 1 month, Biclofin 10 mg for 1 month. I had the surgery of L4-L5 fliction in 2013. May I know why these pains troubling me when I am in sleeping and standing posture and why not in the sitting posture.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your experience with pain with Spinal stiffness when standing or lying down and relief when sitting following a previous surgery i am suggesting that you have developed a condition called lumber spondylosis (arthritis of the spine cord)
In view of this do an MRI test to rule out the above condition
Meanwhile schedule an appointment with an orthopaedic specialist for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
Reason for such pain when standing or lying down and relief when sitting is due to pressure from weight acting on surgery site
I hope this helps Regards
