What Causes Severe Stiffness And Pain In The Fingers And Shoulder Area?

I have severe stiffness and joints pain specially in my fingers and shoulder area during the night time and i wake up with pain. my ankle has become painful and tight. I had all the blood tests related to RA and other stuff and they are all fine. What could it be??

Hello,

They probably checked a sed rate, but polymyalgia rheumatica would be one option. Autoimmune diseases are an overall inflammatory process. If only a few areas are affected, it isn't that but localized wear and tear.
