What Causes Severe Stiffness In The Joints And Swollen Hands And Feet?
Every morning I wake up with my hands and feet swollen. My joints are extremely stiiff also and most morning its very difficult to walk. The pain on somedays spread to my right shoulder and my lower back! There are some mornings I can barely walk but make myself because of my 2 children. The pain will go away on some days by the afternoon but here lately it keeps getting worse as the day progresses! What could be going on with me? I m only 29 and female!!
I think the symptoms you are experiencing like joint pain, stiffness and difficulty in walking may be related to arthritis. You should get further examined doing a complete blood count with formula and ERS,anti ANA antibodies and a X-ray of the affected joints. You should get treated with anti-inflammatory drugs such advil or naproxen for pain and stiffness. Other treatments may be recommended after getting diagnosed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
