What Causes Severe Stomach Ache In A Toddler?
Hello Doctor.,,.My 3 year old boy got a sudden and severe stomach ache and it subsided on its own in ten mins. When he was in pain he was crying severely in pain and rolling on the floor clutching his stomach. I gave him psyclopam in between before it subsided. Can you pls tell me the probable reasons. And if the pain might elapse again? Do I need to deworm him ? Thanks Urmi

It could be a bout of gastroenteritis.
Consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.
In severe cases, antibiotics have to be started.
As of now, paracetamol syrup can be taken for symptomatic relief.
