General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Stomach cramps and urgency to pass stools after taking food may not be related to diabetes. It could be due to some pathology in the digestive system, which needs to be explored and treated.
Kindly undergo colonoscopy as it has been already advised. Along with it, get an ultrasound abdomen scan done to know the status of gall bladder, pancreas and kidneys.
Kindly consult Physician with the reports for clinical evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
