What Causes Severe Stomach Pain After A Laparoscopic Appendectomy?

My partner had a laparoscopic appendectomy 8 days ago, the pain was gone but she s starting to be in pain again. She also start twitching all over that worst when asleep and stomach keeps rumbling loudly. She s had her bowels open and passing flatulence regularly but when her tummy rumbles there s also a shooting pain from her right lower abdomen going down to her groin. Im worried there s something else wrong. Thank you

Appendicitis causes abdominal pain, usually in the region of the bellybutton.

The pain may also radiate to the lower right section of the abdomen.

Additional signs and symptoms that indicate appendicitis include appetite loss.
