What Causes Severe Stomach Pain After Eating?

My 14 year old step son for the last three weeks has had severe stomach pain everytime he eats. It doesn t matter what he eats, how much or how little. He has no fever, not bloating, no blood, no discomfort except pain after eating. Does not have the poops..nor seems to be constipated. Tonight he did have some pepto bismal which helped some but the only thing we can think of is possibly stomach ulcers....do you any other ideas on what it could be?
