General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bloating can be associated with significant abdominal pain.

It can sometimes be related to: (1) constipation
(2) intolerance to certain foods so you would need to determine if it occurs in respond to any particular foods
(3)use of gas producing foods such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, turnips, brussel sprouts, prunes
(4)reflux
(5)celiac disease

If you have constipation this can be treated to see if this helps

If this is not the case, then you may want to use reflux medications as well as eliminating gas producing foods.

I hope this helps
