What Causes Severe Stomach Pain And Diarrhea After Taking Contraceptive Pills?

I took the morning after pill on Sunday at about 2pm. I ate food afterwards and then again at about 8 o clock. I then proceeded to have terrible stomach pains and diarrhea. I am aware of stomach cramping when taking the pill, however, diarrhea I have not, so I put it down to eating something dodgy that day. However since then I have continued to have these terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea for the ast two days and as well began bleeding today. I am aware that my period could come early, but a whole week and a half early? I am now confused, is this a bug I have caught or is this side effects of the morning after pill?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Experiencing stomach pain following intake of emergency contraceptive pill like i pill could be due to side effect of the drug. However, having diarrhea due to drug is of less possibility.
But, since you are having both abdominal pain as well as diarrhea, it could be most likely due to gastrointestinal tract infection.
Kindly take a course of Tablet. Secnidazole forte. Also be on bland and easily digestible diet till you get your break through bleeding. Keep yourself well hydrated by consuming good quantities of liquid.
You should get your periods within 3 weeks from the day of intake if the pill. Otherwise, you need to seek medical attention immediately.
