What Causes Severe Stomach Pain In Children?
My twelve year old daughter has stomach pain that comes out of the blue and lasts for hours. The pain can be very severe and while we have tried to track what she eats around these attacks, we cannot seem to isolate a common cause. Last night she had ice cream. The attacks seem like a gall bladder attack.

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to colic and may not be due to gall bladder, to rule out this possibility sonography is must and without this gall bladder pathology can not be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care.
