What Causes Severe Stomach Pain In Lower Part Of Stomach?

My mom is having very bad stomach pain in the lower part of her stomach. She can barely stand up or sets own. Every time she does get up And set down her lower part of her stomach hurts really badly. Do you have any idea what this could be. Does she need to go see a doctor. Thank you.

your mother complaining of lower abdominal pain, may be due to conditions like intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, kidney stones or ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis etc. Her symptoms should be correlated with her age.

I advice you to do,
* USG / CT abdomen & pelvis
* Blood & stool sample examination for bacterial & parasitic infections
* colonoscopy if no Uterine pathology
* Antispasmodics to relieve pain
* Balanced diet
* plenty of fluids intake
