What Causes Severe Swelling And Pain In The Legs?

My sister is blind and slow, so it is difficult to unserstand her symptoms... I am able to see a light green tint to her big toe on one side, and there is significant swelling of the legs, she complains of pain and loss of sensation in her one foot. Everyone in our family are diabetic, except her. She is 59 years old, overweight, and can not do much exercise. What should I do for her?

HI THANK FOR TRUSTING HCM

I SEE YOU CONCERN TO THIS
to get daibetic as an inherited gift is very common
so the sign n symptoms you are telling is all about daibetic foot with DVT
one thing i must clear is that due bad control of glucouse in body
due to poor blood supply and loss of sensation results in this condition

before making a daignosis a diagnosis of daibetic foot you much go through these tests
HbA1c
color doppler for both legs
RBS PP and fasting
CBC

rest if that black green spot has been increased i heartly says that the that green part we must removed as soon as possible
as it has no role in that if affect all over the body and body gets circulating toxins

so treatment part includes
ampuatation of affected part
rasie the leg above the body level
good glycemic control by insulin or oral drugs

mind it these things r very commom in daibetic patients
daibetic neuropathy
daibetic foot
daibtic retinopathy
