I have a history of afib/aflutter. I have had two cardiac ablation and doing ok. I did recently have afib and my Dr changed my meds. I am talking Multaq and cardizem. The cardizem is new and I have noticed I m having a lot of swelling in my ankles and feet that I ve never had before. I will let my Dr know but should I be concerned something else is going on. My mother had congestive heart failure.
it can be side effect of medicine specialy for hypertention. change of medicine is recomanded. take ECG and consult cardiologist renal function test and hypertensive profile should be done. exclude diabetes.
