What Causes Severe Swelling In The Legs, Ankles And Feet?
I have had severe swelling of legs ankles and feet. I rested in bed for a whole day, then have put on compression stockings which has helped. But my right knee has pain behind my knee cap and a small cyst by my knee cap also the back of my knee is swelled and sore with the soreness going down the inside lower and upper calf. Do you think I need to see my doctor and what can the probem be?

You seem to have blood circulation problem in lower limbs like varicose veins/ deep vein thrombosis to cause the swelling.following examination & special investigation
You should see a vascular surgeon earliest -for his expert consultation following examination & investigation like 3 D usg scan.
Till then.. take rest avoid walking or standing, movements of lower limb., raise the limbs ( use pillow ), drink sufficient water,
