What Causes Severe Throat Congestion While On Losartan?

I have severe throat congestion all the time Been to ENT, had allergy testing Been to gastroenterology Dr & no one can come up w/an answer but I do take 100 mg of Losaratan could this be causing the terrible throat congestion. Had endoscopy done twice no answer yet they want me to have another one I have had it HELP

Hello, Losartan can occasionally cause nasal congestion and stuffy nose as well as difficulty in breathing. Since you are 100 mg Losartan, and none of the other tests have been negative or have no found any reason, it is propably due to Losartan. It would be better to go in for another antihypertensive drug like Olmesartan or Perindopril. You may ask your doctor whether this change will help. Thanks.
