What Causes Severe Throat Discomfort, Ear Pain And Swollen Tonsils?

Hi, I am 29 years old female weight 51Kg, and Height 1 meter 59 Cm. I was five months pregnant before 2 months that ended in pregnancy termination due to fetus posterior urethra valve. I am HG sufferer. I feel something stuck in my throat, with no pain but a lot off discomfort. Sometimes I feel earache, feel my uvula reaches my tongue, difficulty breathing, little swollen left tonsil with two white spots which I removed them at home. All started during pregnancy and still I feel those after the termination. I took antibiotics, antihistamine and anti allergy medicines but all don’t work. Before two years I had genital warts. So, can it be related with oral cancer or something else? I am worried too much.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe throat discomfort, ear pain and swollen tonsils which is due to upper respiratory tract infection, granular pharyngitis, enlarged tonsils and it could be strep throat infection. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. Go for thorough examination and sputum test as well. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Gargle warm saline rinses. You should take anti-allergic, mucolytic agent will help to reduce discomfort. You should take steam inhalation through the nose and mouth will help including the ear discomfort. Avoid carbonated beverages. Drink plenty of water as well.
