What Causes Severe Throat Pain Upon Smoking Marijuana?

Hello! I had a question for you. Two days ago I smoked weed with a friend and now my throat hurts. It's inflamed and part of the back of my tongue and throat make it hard to even swallow my own spit. And I'm drinking hot lemon and honey water. Any tips? Because it actually really hurts

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe throat pain upon smoking Marijuana. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergy reaction or throat infection due to lower immunity . I would suggest you to stop smoking marijuana , do warm saline gargles thrice a day daily and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . If condition doesn't get better then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , vital culture test along with examination of throat with laryngoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or penicillin along with anti inflammatory and vitamin supplement . Doctor may also prescribe anti allergic .
