Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Tingling Sensation In The Back?
I have been getting a tingling sensation in my back, left side, about the level of my arm pit. It is the sensation you get when a part of your body becomes numb and then you feel tingling afterwards. It is just below the surface. What could be causing this?
Hi.Can understand your concern. As per your query, tingling and numbness at your back at armpit level is looking as if there is some nerve entrapment or any nerve supplying to that area is getting compressd. It can be recovered by doing physiotherapy or exercise regularly..If there is severe pain you can take analgesic as OTC medication. You should take multivitamin tablet neurobion forte once daily as a supplement. You need to go for an xray or MRI for proper evaluation and consultation with a physician.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
