What Causes Severe Tinnitus?

Hello, I have a problem with my ears, I ve had to have them syringed before because of wax build up, but now my left ear feels like it s under a lot of pressure, i have a ringing sensation , maybe tinnitus and from time to time it seems to discharge some sort of white liquid, I get it usually once or twice a year, I ve only ever had my ears syringed once, or just waited a few weeks and it seems to pass, but this time it has been like this for about 4 months, the ringing in my ear is worse, some days the pressure is worse and it is still leaking, unsure of what to do

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You will need to have your ears checked with an otoscope, which will visualize your ear canals and the tympanic membranes. Your doctor may also require an audiogram and tympanogram to evaluate your ears and make sure why you are getting these symptoms.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
