Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have sharp upper abdominal pain and I can feel like my stomach bubble and I burp or pass gas but the pain lasts for like an hour and sometime I have to stop what I m doing because to hurts so bad and it happens about twice a week I think is acid reflux like what my dad has but I don t know
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... As per your symptom you should be suffering from Gastric problems like hyperacidity, gastritis, Indigestion, GERD( gastro esophageal reflux disease), etc. You should take omeprazole 20 mg empty stomach in the morning. Avoid spicy & fried food. Having water before meals can be helpful. Avoid lying down immediately after a heavy diet. Light exercise like walking is also helpful.
If problem persist visit a physician Hope this information helps
