What Causes Severe Upper Eyelid Pain?
All day, when I go out in the sun, I have been having pain behind my upper left eye lid on the white part of the eyeball and the more sun I let in the worse the pain. The pain worsens when looking upward. When I am indoors, it is not as bad. I have diabetes type 2 also, am 61 years old male.

Regarding your experience with pain at your upper eyelid that is worse when exposed to sun following a history of diabetes type 2 I will suggest you have developed allergic iritis
In view of this please take any of the following Tablet nurofen Tylenol feldene
If no improvement schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist specialist for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
