What Causes Severe Urge To Urinate After Taking Amoxicillin For Flu?

Hi three days ago I woke up with the urge to urinate and this felling hasnt gone away. I went to urgent care and had the urine sample tested and the results were negetivw. Right before this I had a severe flu and I used amoxocillin which gave me a runny tummy untill yesterday.

Amoxicillin does not cause frequent urination. However as you mentioned 'runny tummy', it can cause diarrhea in a small number of patients. Do not be stressed. There can be some other reason for your frequent urination. As your urine report is normal, it rules out urinary tract infection. If it is really troublesome, get a blood sugar fasting & random tests done and then show to a medical specialist if the report is abnormal.
