What Causes Severe Vaginal Itching And Burning In A Diabetic Patient?
Hello. So I am a 30 year old, type 1 diabetic, female. For the last 32 hours I have had severe vaginal itching and burning. I ve had no discharge. Today I noticed my urine is very cloudy. I have a history of UTIs as well as yeast infections. I do not remember them ever being like this though. Any advice?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to yeast infection and urinary tract infection. Doing a urine routine examination will be helpful to rule out this. In case of urinary tract infection puss cells will be increased. In that case antibiotic therapy will be needed and you can approach your GP for this. Yeast infection can give itching on genital area. You can use clotrimazole cream ( canestan ) for local application which is available as over the counter. I also recommend to use intimate wash daily to my parents with such condition to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by to prevent getting such infections.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
