My son is a freeskiier and misread a landing in which he first landed on his skiis, but then he hit slush and lunged forward and face planted. He had a CT scan at the hospital and it did not show any signs of bleeding in the brain. He fractured his orbital bone and of course left side of his face is extremely swollen with his eye basically shut. Aside from the damage to his face, my concern is that he has been vomiting since he came back from the hospital. What if anything can he take or eat that may stay down. He was prescribed some antibiotics (I guess for the cuts and abrasions to the face) and some pain killers. He is not living with us and is 1700 miles away in Colorado.
