General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The child is screaming at breathing which suggests that there is mucus plug or else secretions in the respiratory tract preventing her from taking breath. This is a medical emergency as the aspiration of the secretions can lead to fatal outcomes or aspiration pneumonia as well.Just do one thing to call 911 and keep the baby covered in clothes with holding by arm and head over your shoulder as if you are making her burp to prevent any inadvertent events of aspiration. Do not give her anything by mouth till the emergency van arrives.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
