Every couple of months, without warning or doing anything out of the ordinary, I wake up to an attack of violent vomiting, and severe coldness inside. I am so cold that I must be under several heavy blankets & have a portable heater inches from my body. I am a 53 year old, otherwise healthy, active, woman. When this happens, it ALWAYS lasts about 7-8 hours....and then, although fatigued from the experience, I feel better and am fine thereafter. I am brought water or ginger ale through this attack to help keep me hydrated.....and I do feel thirsty. But when I drink either, I immediately throw up again. I ve had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. The results said diverticulosis, and stomach inflammation. That s all I know. What do you think?
