What Causes Severe Vomiting And Diarrhea?

I m a single dad and my 17 year old daughter has been throwing up and has had diarrhea since Sunday night. She couldn t keep down Gatorade until today and she ate a few saltine crackers. She felt a bit better this afternoon and fell asleep but just woke up and feels weak and her stomach feels like a knot, possibly from the heaving. She s been sipping Gatorade for electrolytes but hasn t eaten. Should I take her to the ER for nutrients and fluids? Recommendations please?

hello there, your daughter might be dehydrated, and as she is vomiting, and not taking adequate fluids. she might need intra venous fluid therapy with antibiotics. so yes she need a ER visit.
