My nine month old daughter threw up around 530 alot. She hadnt ate since 2 and all day she has just had baby food she ate about three ounces at 8 but instantly threw it back up and has thrown up three other times but not alot do I need to take her to the hospital her temperature was 99.1 and I have her Tylenol she has went to the bathroom regularly
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of severe vomiting and fever. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food poisoning, electrolyte imbalance and due to acute gastritis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day , keep your head elevated while sleeping . Consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order test like swab test, blood test and will do physical examination. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis along with antiemetic medications. Avoid eating spicy and heavy food , reduce intake of dairy products.
