What Causes Severe Vomiting, Frequent Diarrhea, Lightheadedness And Leg Numbness?
Hi. I m trying to guide my son who is away at school. He is vomiting every few minutes, frequent diarrhea and is having trouble holding down water. His last diarrhea had blood when he wiped (could be from straining?) He is now light headed and feels numbness in his legs. Not sure how to guide him....
Advise him to immediately restore body fluids by taking ORS or electrolyte solution and seek medical attention right away. Cause for bleeding can be internal intestinal injury due to rapid increased bowel movements.. Infection of the GIT mostly causes vomitings and diarrhoea rush him to ER to prevent dehydration.
