For about 4 weeks now I have had severe weakness in both legs. I have been falling out of bed for about 4 weeks..I also am a sleep walker/talker (this is why it concerns, me...how can I get in bed and out of bed. We are now placing pillows on my side of the bed). I also walked/talked as a child also in.. my late 20 and early 30 s. but now I don t have the strength to get up on my own, My husband gets me up half way and he has to drop me, because he has back problems. I started breaking out with welts on both arms for 3 days. Pretty weird don t you think?
As per your description, it looks generalized weakness of your body. For that you should check your haemoglobin and other blood indices.
You can start consuming food rich in iron and fresh green leafy vegetables and fruits. Tablet iron-folic acid can be taken to increase your hemoglobin.
Vitamin B12 level should be also checked and if found deficits then supplement should be started.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
