What Causes Severe Weight Gain , Headaches And Depression After Taking Progesterone 100 Mg?
I took progesterone 100mg for 6 weeks for hormone replacement therapy . I have no uterus. I had many side effects including weight gain, headaches, joint stiffness, depression. I have stopped taking it for 1 week...when I begin to see the side effects cease?

Depends on where the weight is. Progesterone causes some fluid retention and some increase in eating. If the weight is all fluid, then stopping the medicine with giving some fluid pills will get the fluid off in under a week. If it is fat, then lower calorie intake will also cause weight loss, but it will take weeks to months.
