What Causes Severe Yeast Infection While On Invokana?

Hi, I am a male taking Invokana. One of the side effects is yeast infection in males who are uncircumcised. I seem to be getting yeast infections a lot lately. Sometimes it only lasts for a few days, but recently it seems like it is always there. Any otc medications available to help control this?

Hi,

You can apply a topical antifungal ointment like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief. Apply it after cleaning the area with soap and water. If symptoms persist, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
