Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I get sudden bouts of shakiness followed by sweating, and weakness, my sugar has been checked and has not been an issue however I seem to notice that I get this when I am real hungry! It s happening now and I had to stop, what I was doing and sit. I do have M.S. But hav not had any problems lately.
Shakiness, sweating and weakness are commonly due to dehydration, body electrolyte imbalance, thyroid issues, Parkinson's disease, developing neurological disorder, sleep deprivation or cardiac disorders. You are suggested to get a complete medical check up done. Get all blood work outs and imaging tests done so that the pathology causing you symptoms may get detected and treated. In the meantime, take ORS, warm beverages and nutritious food so that you are well hydrated and your vitals are normal. Take vitamin B6, B12 and get all nerve conduction tests done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
