Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of shaking in an elderly patient being treated for pneumonia which could be due to poor immunity of body and it could be due to hypertensive pneumonitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You should take diet rich in fibres. You should avoid intake of any outside food and cold beverages. Visit pulmonologist once and get complete examination done. You should go for X-ray chest and pulmonary function tests and start treatment accordingly. Take diet rich in multivitamins, fruits and take multivitamin tablet as well to boost body immunity. Drink plenty of water to rehydrate yourself.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
