Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms described by you - feeling panicky suddenly, shortness of breath and racing heart are suggestive of anxiety or panik attack.
These symptoms are not probably due to any cardiovascular problem still you can cnsult a cardiologist for clinical assessment of the cardiovascular system to rule out any organic disease of the cardiovascular system.

Thanks and take care
