What Causes Sharp Abdominal Pain After Taking An Ibuprofen?
Hi so I took ibprofen for 3 days now like 2times a day once in the morning and then before I go to bed and I take about 600mg bc each pill is 200mg but I stopped 3days ago and I have been waking up with sharp pains in my stomach and I haven t taken it since...could I have taken too much and that s why my stomach has been hurting? Idk what to do please help and I can t go to the doctor right now bc o don t have insurance...please help

The symptoms seem to be related to gastritis which is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach. I suggest using a spasmolytic such as Buscopan three times a day for relief.
I also suggest to use a gastro protector such as Omeprazole daily in the morning before breakfast.
