Just recently i have been having sharp pains in my stomach between my ribs it was just once and a while but now it's getting worse I don't feel like puking or going to the bathroom it also doesn't stop if I go to the bathroom so if you could please give me some inside on what this could be and if I should go in our not??? Thank you!
If between ribs, you mean the xyphoid region of the abdomen, then the most likely cause should be acid reflux. Normally the pain should be burning type and could be aggravated by food or starvation. You will need to take antacids in order to relieve the symptoms. If this persist despite taking those, you will need to see a doctor for closer evaluation and treatment.
