Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i woke up this morning and had a sharp shooting pain in my stomach. it was in my belly button area but it was an internal pain. it hurt a little bit when I walked around but whenever I pee it is a sharp shooting pain still in my belly button area. I m not sure what this is or what to do about it
The sharp pain you feel in your belly button area whenever you pee is indicative for possible cystitis (inflammation/infection of bladder).
I advise to run further tests as you might need prescription antibiotics/medicines: - urine analysis - abdominal ultrasound
Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.
For the moment, I advise to take: - plenty of water - go to toilet whenever you feel the need, do not delay - take magnesium citrate and cranberry to stabilize urine pH and subside the symptoms
Wish fast recovery! Dr.Albana
