What Causes Sharp And Intense Pain On Right Side Of Abdomen?

I have abdominal pain on my right side front. It happens when I stand for any length of time. Tends to go away when I sit for a few minutes. Also may be relieved by a bowel movement. Pain can be sharp and intense. I have been checked for a hernia with no indication of such
